Something like crystal glassware, China, photo albums, or holiday décor can be something a new mom can collect while her children are growing up, share memories with them, then pass them on once they are adults. You should get your mother-in-law something similar to what you would get your own mother. Although she didn’t raise you, she did raise your spouse. Her favorite wine (make it a subscription), an electronic assistant (think Alexa), or something for her hobby would be great. Don’t forget a card.
